This black-oxide alloy steel socket head screw is the mounting standard for most AR grips, like the CO AR Comfort Grip. It's strong and durable, with a coating to help resist rust and a little extra length than standard AR grip screws (1" instead of 3/4") for additional strength and compatibility. 3/16" drive makes for easy and reliable use without the fear of stripping. Works great with our 3/16" Hex L-Key.
With a tensile strength of 170,000 psi, these alloy steel screws are stronger than Grade 8 steel screws. Length is measured from under the head.
